Early in March of 2016 we took in another dog that had been wandering the streets for two weeks near my partner’s place of work. Diezel, our other dog, had climbed a few mountains with me and as part of Bella’s initiation to the pack we wanted to take her up for some training.

In April we decided to take a short trek up Mount Sniktau for both our own training and the proximity to Dener, but also to train Bella on the snow and with her pack.

We had a beautiful bluebird day with little wind, an unusual treat at Loveland Pass. It’s a short trek up Mount Sniktau and a great training peak. ‍

Bella did great with her pack and loved all the reflections in the snow!
