Green Mountain in Lakewood Colorado is home to a labyrinth of trails linking up tons of routes in and around the mountain. Easily accessible trailheads allow for several entry points and link ups of various trails. Popular as a training ground and to tourists alike there are countless ways to enjoy this space. Whether on two wheels or two feet, I never regret a sunrise or sunset on good old Green!

The fire road offers the perfect amount of vertical for weekly training year round. From mountain biking to running or hiking as weekly training to even skiing down every now and then when we get a wild snowstorm, there’s tons of fun to be had on this mountain.

I try not to take it for granted, living in such a beautiful state, but know I occasionally do. Using this opportunity to remind myself to slow down and enjoy the view a little longer next time!
