After going an extended period without hanging out our small friend group finally landed on some shared dates to get out to tour together for the first time. Some of us were pretty new to skiing, some literally trying their gear for the first time that day. Anyday out with this group is pure gold with cherished memories made.

People come in and out of our lives. Sometimes we stumble upon people that align with our souls. They grow us, build us up, speak the truth we need to hear, and show us what true friendship and teamwork is all about. 

These are my people.

We had a great day with a short tour and myself basically flailing down the mountain with my first time skiing backcountry powder. Lots of laughs were had and we all treated ourselves to bevies afterwards!

I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to have crossed paths with these folks. What we do in the mountains requires a lot of trust and accountability from our partners. After all, we mitigate risk but we do not eliminate it. Trusting someone with your life is a big commitment that isn’t taken lightly. These people are my community and some of the best damn friends I’ve known.
