I participated in a sport lead climbing course with the CMC to dial in my leading skills. We spent the morning on a lovely route, Critters, in Clear Creek Canyon. It was the perfect setting to practice our newly learned skills and put them to test.
Each of us practiced leading up, transitioning to the anchor and setting up a top rope while cleaning as our belayers lowered us back to the ground. We also practiced other skills and had a fun day getting to know and climb with one another.
Excellent day out with new and old friends!
