CMC

As part of a prerequisite path ahead of participating in a high altitude and glacier travel mountaineering course we needed to take Rock Rescue. This was a necessary skill we needed anyway as we just started climbing rock and had been in a previous rock fall accident.

We spent the day rappelling past obstructions, climbing safety skills, using a Munter Mule Overhand knot to escape the belay in case of an emergency/rescue and even ascending ropes for rescue scenarios.

It was a fabulous day out with the CMC and a great group practicing skills!
