I organized a trail run progression for interested CMC members this year to help motivate some of my personal cross training efforts. 

This one caught me off guard because I hadn’t checked the most recent forecast and a surprise snowstorm was incoming. As I drove from Denver to Golden ahead of the meet time the snow was already coming down.

After getting to the meeting location the snow was coming down consistently and I questioned how many participants would show up.

To my surprise we had a small turnout and everyone opted for a slow and slippery jaunt in the snow. We had a blast slipping and sliding around on the trail and rewarded ourselves with beers and food afterwards!
