Friends Trip

In 2015 one of our friends was back in town from being stationed abroad. He organized a snowboarding trip annually this time finding a place in Montezuma. We stayed in Keystone for the trip in 2011. Montezuma is a super cool neighboring town with a scenic backdrop.

We had a snowy weekend with snow almost all weekend which made for a dreamy cabin experience down the Montezuma road. The dogs run that place and have paths all around the houses and roads. Pretty cool to experience for the weekend!

One of the days we went over to Keystone for some runs at the resort, not everyone was able to make it due to some altitude sickness for visitors not accustomed to Colorado. Those of us that did go to Keystone enjoyed a bunch of runs at the resort before making our way back to the cabin.

We ate a bunch of good food and had some bevies while enjoying the hot tub. One of the dogs of the town came up to the deck and stole one of my socks to scamper down their trail and bury it somewhere in Montezuma. RIP sock. A great weekend enjoying a lovely cabin and snowboarding at Keystone with friends!
