2015 Ski Jam Abasin

In 2015 we went to the annual Arapahoe Basin Ski Jam event in the Spring. We planned to link up with a couple meeting us there to ride some runs and then celebrate with grilling in the parking lot. We got up to the parking lot wicked early but unfortunately the couple meeting us got a late start resulting in being stuck in i70 traffic for hours.

So we reversed the order of events and started grilling some food in the parking lot awaiting their arrival. Once they finally got there Ricky and myself were eager to make some turns and get some runs in. Lindsey and myself donned Tutus as the fashion of the day.

I was so proud of myself because I nailed a jump on my first try down through a tree ramp on a run we were taking. So proud, big ups! We got in as many turns as we could with the delayed start and then headed back to the parking lot for more grilling.

We closed down the resort and called it a day, capping it off with food and bevies! A great day at this fun event. So much fun I’ll definitely return!
