My riding improved significantly in 2016 with more resort mileage and time in the mountains. I was pretty excited about this and wanted to keep pushing my skills.

We drove up to Copper Resort one day for a bluebird weekend day and decided to take the T-Bar to drop into their back bowls. I wasn’t super familiar with Copper having only been there a handful of times, mostly in summer at this point. It was a cool experience to top out with the T-Bar and take the ramps back to the runs on the other side!

Fresh powder awaited us and we enjoyed some smooth runs on the backside of the mountain near the Enchanted Forest. I remember we were able to squeeze in a ton of runs that day and ended the day in the trees!

We found a great tree line with lush powder that came down and met the snowcat track down the road. That was one of our last runs on the backside before taking the lift back to the frontside of the mountain.

A cool first experience at Copper and an enjoyable day of riding!
