Mary Jane at Winter Park Resort is a popular area, rightfully so. A crowd pleaser for many reasons, it ranks high on my list of Colorado ski resort favorites.

I love the chill factor and vibe you get here as opposed to the main Winter Park resort. Locals seem to prefer Mary Jane over the main hill and I get why.

There are abundant opportunities including backcountry lines and access to big back bowls from MJ. One of my first trips here was memorable with powder conditions and simply enjoying a new-to-me resort experience.

We had a blast shredding gnar and even met the Mayor of Winter Park and the lawyer in the Flint Michigan water trial case having beers and lunch at the top. Pretty rad!
