City Park Loop

Another classic cycling route in Denver, City Park is a short loop I found along with my local Strava trail discoveries inclusive of gpx. This was a strange linkup though and took a couple times to nail down the pattern of the so-called route or gpx track on Strava. An adaptable option with an endless amount of laps available to your heart's content.
City Park is north of my usual cycling routes and takes some effort to get there either by bike or driving commute. Weekday and early visits are optimal to enjoy City Park without as much commotion as you normally encounter on the weekend or busy times. If you’re lucky enough you might catch the pavement without many obstacles, namely people, but you may still have to contend with the geese.
Year round accessibility makes City Park a great training ground similar to the likes of Wash Park or Sloan’s Lake. Our mile four seasons in Colorado allow us to enjoy the parks for training in all types of weather. I had hosted a CMC social ride a couple evenings linking up with other riders to take some laps around the park getting to know one another.
A great casual afternoon scouting this loop for future social rides after work!
