Tour de Fat Denver of 2014 was different from other years participating in this event. For one, we attended Snowboard on the block prior to riding over to Tour de Fat. A fully packed day!

New Belgium does a hell of a job putting on this event. Each year switching up the main attractions, entertainment, game and bike options all while providing endless food and drink options and live music to boot.

After a fully packed day and riding all over town, I think we put in over 20+ miles that day, we made our way back home, but not without one pitstop first. 

We ended up at the dog shelter! That’s right, after a full day of Tour de Fat and Snowboard on the block events on this day in 2014, we spontaneously adopted a dog afterwards. Great day, great decisions! Another rescue pup saved after another annual trip to Tour de Fat!
